Verstappen not happy after FP2: "It was not a good day"

Verstappen is disappointed after the second free practice ahead of the Italian Grand Prix. The Red Bull Racing driver finished in fifth place, behind Pierre Gasly's AlphaTauri and Lando Norris' McLaren.

Bad day for Verstappen

“It was not a good day. I had a lot of trouble with balance and grip and there is still a lot of work to be done," Verstappen says after the second free practice session. “It's probably not great, but we need to fix our grip issues. Then normally when we have a good balance in the car, the tyre problems also solve," Verstappen told Sky Sports.

“You try to look for the limits. And sometimes when you have a moment you get out wide, but that doesn't make much difference in the free practices," says Verstappen about going wide in the Parabolica.
