CEO of Williams announces departure from the team

In 2011 Mike O'Driscoll (64) joined Williams and in 2013 he made the step forward to the role of CEO. Since then he has been CEO of Williams Grand Prix Engineering, but his role will soon come to an end. The team announced through press release that O'Driscoll will retire.
Long-term strategy
O'Driscoll's role was to oversee the team's long-term strategy and to support Sir Frank Williams in partnership with Claire Williams. With the many changes now underway in the team following the acquisition by Dorilton Capital, he will now give up his role to retire.
"It has been and remains a huge privilege to be part of this great team. I am proud to have played my part in securing the long-term future of Williams and look forward to working closely with Matthew and his team, to ensure a smooth transition and the best possible trajectory for the team's future success," O'Driscoll commented on his departure.
Matthew Savage, Chairman of Dorilton Capital and Williams Grand Prix Engineering, said: "Mike has made a huge contribution as CEO, working alongside theWilliams family since the IPO in 2011. He has steered the corporate side of the group admirably through challenging timesand has been invaluablein preparingWilliams for the next exciting phase."
So with the departure of O'Driscoll there will be another important name to go along with Claire and Frank Williams. It's not impossible that more will follow, because apparently a reorganization is underway.
