Vettel sees unity, but "communication between drivers has changed a lot"

Sebastian Vettel is currently in his fourteenth season of Formula 1 and has been around for quite a few years. During that time he has seen the sport change a lot. Not only in terms of technology, but also in the way drivers interact with each other.
The German driver, for example, sees more unification among the drivers, despite the fact that the way drivers communicate with each other has changed a lot. "I think that when I started, there was more verbal communication with each other", says Vettel to Motorsport-Total.com. "Now I think there are more messages and other forms of communication that I don't know much about".
Drivers used to be among each other more often. "There weren't that many flights to choose from, so they were all on the same flights, in the same hotels", the German continues. Nowadays, everything, including through Corona, is a bit more fragmented. "Because you are more with just your team, there is a natural division, but I think you can still say that in the last three or four years we have been more united than before.”
