The Formula 1 calendar for 2021 has been revealed, but there is one hole left in the calendar, left by Vietnam. When asked about a solution Max Verstappen points to one of the replacement tracks in 2020.

The F1 season of 2020 was thrown upside down by the coronavirus and the calendar has had to be adjusted considerably. We have seen races at Mugello, Imola and at the Nürburgring, which were not scheduled originally.

Verstappen chooses Imola

"We've had some good races this year. Portimao was cool. I only hope for more grip when we get there again. Imola was very cool, really an 'old school' circuit and the Nürburgring was also very cool to drive," said Verstappen at the press conference . The Dutchman was asked to choose one circuit as a possible race for 2021.

"Then I'll go for Imola, which is more 'old school' after all. You were really up against the gravel in some places, so if you go wide, you go off. So that's my choice, even though Mugello is also very nice. I'd rather have them take away some other tracks and add these races," said Verstappen.
