Honda is positive, despite missing pole position with Verstappen

Max Verstappen seemed to be on course for his first pole position of the season this afternoon. Lance Stroll was the only man to beat the Dutchman, to everybody's shock. According to Honda, it's a pity that no pole could be achieved for the driver and the team.
The race weekend at Istanbul Park has become a big challenge for the drivers and the teams. Due to a new track surface, the hardest tyres in Pirelli's catalogue, the cold weather and the rain, the track was turned into an ice rink for most of the time. However, Max Verstappen seemed to be the one who had the conditions under control.
Honda was looking forward to a pole position for the Dutchman with the Japanese engine in the car. "As he was the fastest in all the sessions from FP1 to Q2, it's a shame Max Verstappen just missed pole position in Q3," said Toyoharu Tanabe on Honda's Twitter channel.
Still happiness at Honda
Despite missing pole position, Tanabe is happy with the good starting positions for the two cars of Red Bull Racing. "Verstappen and his team mate Alexander Albon have ensured a very positive result with the second and fourth places on the grid."
