In Imola, the most important place in the constructors' championship had in fact already been determined. Mercedes is again dominant in F1 and so they are the champion. Behind that, however, there is still a lot going on and because of the mixed results, the battle for P3 seems to take a new turn. Sergio Perez' podium plays a major role in this.

Everything is clear at the front. Mercedes will be world champion for the seventh consecutive time and Red Bull Racing will most likely be runner-up. However, in third place there is still a lot to play for. At the moment Racing Point is back in third place, but McLaren, Renault and Ferrari are all aiming for third place, which could be a multi-million-dollar game that will only be decided in Abu Dhabi.

AlphaTauri lonely seventh

Behind those four teams, AlphaTauri is a lonely team, because with forty points behind and eighty points ahead, there is not much that can change their seventh place. At the bottom, Alfa Romeo, Haas and Williams still compete for the bottom three spots, with Alfa Romeo appearing to have the best papers.
