Russell: "Racing is going to be so crazy, so it's going to be exciting"

Formula 1 will take place this weekend in Bahrain. For the third time in 2020 a circuit will host two Grands Prix, but unlike Silverstone and the Red Bull Ring, the Bahrain International Circuit will use two different layouts. George Russell is expecting a great race on the fast Outer Loop.
Short and fast
In the first weekend of Bahrain the 'normal' Grand Prix layout will be used, but the second race will be held on the short Outer circuit. Lap times of under a minute are expected on the super fast circuit.
"It's going to be great, that's for sure. I think it will be exciting, because the lap times will be close together," said Russell according to Autosport.com. The Williams driver assumes that the lap times in qualifying will be within a second of each other. "That means that if you make one small mistake, you can lose a lot of positions on Saturday."
Chaos on Saturday
"It will probably be a bit of a mess on Saturday, because everyone will be looking for a slipstream. There's probably not enough room to put twenty cars on the track. Racing is going to be so crazy, so it's going to be exciting."
