Leclerc: "Can't hide that I'm a little disappointed"
Ferrari stepped on the podium in Turkey, but they have taken some backwards step in Bahrain. During the free practice sessions, they struggled and that proved to be a true reflection of their speed, as both Charles Leclerc and Sebastian Vettel qualified outside the top ten.
In the rain of Turkey, Leclerc had a podium place but made a mistake in the final corners. This put Vettel on the podium. The consequences are less serious, but of course, he is not happy with it.
Leclerc makes mistakes
"It has been a difficult weekend on my side," he says in front of the Sky Sports camera. "I was not comfortable from FP1. I was too aggressive on the tires. I made some mistakes but I was progressing in qualifying. Let's see if we can think of something different at the start."
"We have a free choice of tyres, I don't know what different strategy we can choose from the others. But still, we have the freedom to choose. We're close to the top ten compared to yesterday, but I can't hide that I'm a little disappointed," he concluded.
