Vettel wants to finish time with Ferrari positively: "Don't regret anything"

Sebastian Vettel will be driving his last race for Ferrari this weekend in Abu Dhabi. It is the end of a collaboration that did not bring what both sides hoped for when he went there after his four world titles with Red Bull.
Vettel hoped to follow in Ferrari's footsteps of his great hero Michael Schumacher. In 2017 and 2018 he made a serious challenge for the world title but was left empty-handed at the end of the season. Since the arrival of Charles Leclerc, the relationship between Ferrari and Vettel has dropped.

"But I do not regret anything. It is important to complete the remaining common tasks with decency," said Vettel before his last race in a conversation with F1Insider.com. Vettel's demise at Ferrari has been rapid.
"Yes, now the roles are reversed. (laughs) I am to Mick what Michael was to me. Mick is a great boy. And yes, I try to help him when I can. Everyone has to find their own way. Mick can drive himself, so I don't have to give him any more tips. It's more about other things. Outside the race track. And just as Michael gave me tips when I wanted to hear them, so will I when Mick asks me to."
