Ferrari acknowledges problem: "We must start again with humility"

Ferrari CEO John Elkann has admitted he was very dissatisfied with the Italian team's results in 2020. Last season Ferrari finished sixth in the Constructors' Championship and Elkann is talking about rebuilding the team.
Time for change
"A great past does not necessarily mean a great present and a great future. We must start again with humility," Elkann said in a meeting with financial analysts according to Gazzetta dello Sport.
A sixth place finish is not acceptable according to Elkann and the team needs to improve as soon as possible. "We are not satisfied with our current results in Formula 1 and we will work with humility and dedication to change them," Elkann concluded.
Elkann present at Fiorano
The Ferrari chief was present at Fiorano last week when, among others, new recruit Carlos Sainz drove a Ferrari F1 car for the first time. Charles Leclerc also tested for a day in the SF71-H. Elkann spoke at length with the two drivers and team principal Mattia Binotto.
