Social media responds: "Thanks to the engine freeze, Mercedes domination for sure"
On Monday morning, Red Bull Racing confirmed they will be taking over Honda's F1 project from the 2022 season after an engine development freeze was agreed upon by those involved in Formula 1. Honda announced they are due to leave F1 after the upcoming 2021 season, and Red Bull were quick to show their interest on keeping the current engine.
Both Red Bull and AlphaTauri will continue to use the Honda engine. After months of speculation and rumours, this is how the internet responded to the confirmation.
Short but sweet reply from Honda
