Warm weather in Monaco: Lots of sun, no rain coming
- GPblog.com
In Formula 2, the first race on Friday morning had to be held on a wet track. It had rained in the night from Thursday to Friday, so the wet tyres were brought out. It seems that Formula 1 does not have to take this into account. In all probability, it will remain dry in Monaco.
The sun will even start to shine, according to Weatheronline. It will be 22 degrees today, which is a lot warmer than the past few days. This also means that the tyres will heat up quicker and that the track temperature will be a lot higher.
Hamilton hopeful of rain
After the dramatic qualifying session for Lewis Hamilton, he announced on social media that he was doing the rain dance in the hope of precipitation on Sunday. It hasn't changed anything though and so the reigning world champion will have to hunt for points from P7, which will be important in the battle for the championship.
Failure never feels good but it provides us with opportunities for growth. We have struggled this weekend, for many different reasons but we win and we lose together. Tomorrow will be tough, so if you got time, do a little rain dance for melet the heavens open pic.twitter.com/8FRDaGswwO
