Earlier today Mercedes-AMG announced a partnership with BWT both on and off the race track. Teams from various racing classes will race in BWT's pink livery at the most popular races and international series, Mercedes announced on their website.

BWT has been known for years for its extraordinary brand presentation in motorsport. Formula 1 fans will be familiar with the brand primarily through the Racing Point team, which drives in the sponsor's bright pink colour. Christoph Sagemüller, head of Mercedes-AMG Motorsport, says: "With BWT we have a strong partner on our side that has been committed to motorsport for many years. I am particularly pleased about the fact that we are also planning various joint activities with BWT outside the racing circuit. For example, our customers will have the opportunity to use future-oriented BWT technology in the AMG Driving Academy and thus avoid plastic waste. We, our teams and drivers will do our utmost to spread the BWT message by delivering as many race performances as possible."

BWT's water technology

BTW is a performance and sports car brand known as Europe's leader in water technology. They are driven by a clear mission: to make water available in perfect drinking quality everywhere in the world. Their message 'change the world, sip by sip' will be at the forefront and teams will implement this concept during their race entries by completely abandoning the transport and use of disposable plastic bottles. Mercedes will also make use of BWT's technology.
