With only a grid penalty for Lando Norris, the final starting grid for the Azerbaijan Grand Prix will not change much. Charles Leclerc took pole position for the second time and will start from first place. The Monegasque will start ahead of Lewis Hamilton, who will start from second despite a bad weekend.

Behind the Brit, who is also second in the championship, Max Verstappen will start. He was lucky as Pierre Gasly in his AlphaTauri is two-thousandths of a second down in fourth position. Carlos Sainz and Sergio Perez fill up the third row of the grid. Yuki Tsunoda and Fernando Alonso have both moved up a place due to Norris' grid penalty, who will start from ninth.
