The result of the sprint qualifying will be the starting grid for today's British Grand Prix. Max Verstappen won the sprint race on Saturday, which means he will start from pole position. Lewis Hamilton is next to him on the front row of the grid after losing P1 on Saturday.

On the second starting row are Valtteri Bottas and Charles Leclerc. The third starting row is coloured orange, with both McLaren drivers lining up side by side. Lando Norris will start from P5 in front of his home crowd, followed by Daniel Ricciardo. Fernando Alonso is standing out in seventh place, after a strong opening lap in the sprint race.

Sebastian Vettel, Esteban Ocon and Carlos Sainz round out the top ten. Pierre Gasly and Geroge Russell make up the sixth row of the grid. The latter was supposed to start from P9, but due to a grid penalty, he now has to hunt for points from P12. The last on the grid is Nikita Mazepin on P19, as Sergio Perez will not start from P20 but from the pit lane.
