Formula 1 has announced what the times will be for the second sprint weekend of F1 at Monza. Again, the normal qualifying and the sprint qualifying will be done fairly late in the day.

No need to change

The first free practice session is normally a morning session, often starting around 10:00 UK time for the European races. Reports from various sources including Sky Sports say that in Italy, it will start at 14:30 UK time. The normal qualifying session that follows doesn't start until 18:00 UK time.

With this, Formula 1 remains constant to the times that were used in Silverstone. Also when it comes to Saturday F1 remains constant. In Italy, the second free practice starts at 12:00 British time and the sprint qualifying at 16:30. The Grand Prix will start as always at 15:00 British time on Sunday afternoon.

Sprint qualifying is eighteen laps

The sprint qualifying will have about the same amount of laps as the sprint qualifying at Silverstone. The British circuit is about 100 meters longer than Monza, so there is only one lap more on the Italian circuit. That makes a total of eighteen laps.
