Steiner hopes: 'I wouldn't bet on that happening to us'

Haas is not exactly having its best season in Formula 1. Guenther Steiner's team will be battling Williams to avoid last place in 2021, although the latter team has a lead for now.
Williams was without points for a long time, but at the Hungarian Grand Prix, it happened. While Nicholas Latifi finished in seventh place, George Russell crossed the finish line in eighth place. Mick Schumacher and Nikita Mazepin again had no points.
Points for Williams
For Steiner, Williams' points came as a surprise, he explains in conversation with Speedweek. "Williams did not expect this blessing in points, but they did a good job and were in the right place at the right time. And that's how it goes sometimes in racing. That's why I always say you have to give your best."
The points were largely due to the collision at the start of the race, with several drivers unable to continue. "They (Williams, ed.) were ready when a few points were up for grabs and that's why they were able to strike. But I wouldn't bet on that happening to us."
