It's vacation time for the drivers, and Max Verstappen doesn't mind. He is enjoying a few weeks holiday, although he will probably be back in the simulator soon. He won't rule out a race either, but only if he can win.

Holidays for Max

After the Hungarian Grand Prix, the drivers have more than three weeks to recharge their batteries before the race weekend in Belgium. While some drivers may be disappointed that they have to stop, Verstappen is happy to take a few weeks off. It allows him to relax for the second leg of his title battle with Lewis Hamilton.

''I’ll be spending most of my two weeks at home. I will go travelling for some of that, relax a bit, but not too much because I need to be ready for the second half of the season and focus on winning the races which are remaining'', Verstappen revealed on the Red Bull website.

Verstappen races to win

''I’m ok with the break, I’ll relax for a week, or ten days. I think it’s a good thing as you can unwind, not worry about workouts, eat what you want and then you can get back on it.''

Nevertheless, Verstappen will soon be back behind the simulator and taking part in races. However, he will only do this if he knows he has a chance of winning. ''I’ll probably do some sim racing, if there are some races around for me to do. It depends on the amount of time I can put into practice as to whether I want to enter a race,'' the Red Bull Racing driver concluded.
