Speculation can begin after cancelled Japan GP: 'Two trips to America?'
- GPblog.com
The Formula 1 circus will not go to Japan this season. For the second year in a row, the Japanese Grand Prix can not take place because of the coronavirus. Online people show their disappointment because Suzuka is a popular place for teams, drivers and fans.
No GP in Japan
It was in the air for quite some time already, but the Japanese Grand Prix will not take place in 2021 either. The Olympic Games were still organised in this country, but due to the increasing number of infections, the government of Japan has no choice but to cancel this race. Many people are of course disappointed about this.
Suzuka is a favourite circuit for many people. Honda and Red Bull Racing are disappointed that they don't have a fitting farewell for Honda at home but also drivers like Sainz are sad that he can't race at the legendary track this year. Read the reactions to the news below.
We’re sad we can't race with you this year in Japan.

A shame to lose Suzuka once more, but it was somehow inevitable despite @F1's promise to create a bubble by using charter flights and restricting personnel to hotels & track etc. On top of that UK red zones are creating a scheduling nightmare so I suspect we will see many changes
