After heavy rain Saturday night, it looks like the Turkish Grand Prix will have a wet start. This could mean an advantage for Max Verstappen and Red Bull Racing, as they looked strong in wet conditions.
Rain offers opportunities for Verstappen
However, Verstappen also sees that the race on a wet track becomes unpredictable. "It is drying out a bit, but also there's still a bit of drizzling around. It's going to be quite difficult to choose your tires for the race start," said the Dutchman during the preview on the YouTube channel of Formula 1.
He doesn't want to say too much about his chances against Mercedes. "In the wet a lot of things can happen, I hope for a clean start and clean first lap," said Verstappen.
Team mate Sergio Perez is also looking forward to an interesting race. "It's going to be a very interesting one, it's not likely to dry out soon. So, its going to be an interesting one for the fans," said the Mexican.
