No reason to panic for Wolff: "It's not the end of the world"

Mercedes team boss Toto Wolff speaks highly of Valtteri Bottas. The Finn scored his first victory of 2021 in Turkey. The Austrian also sees plenty of opportunities for Lewis Hamilton to make up for lost points in the coming races.
A dominant performance by Bottas
Bottas drove a very good race and was never in any danger. Wolff is only too happy with the 32-year-old driver's performance. "Absolutely dominant drive from him today from the get-go. He had it under control and how he managed the tyres. It was a 10/10 for him," Wolff told Sky Sports F1.
Hamilton loses lead in world championship standings
Lewis Hamilton lost the championship lead to Max Verstappen as a result of his fifth place in the Turkish Grand Prix, but for Wolff, this is no reason to panic just yet. "There is always an absolute view and a relative view. The relative view is at the last race Red Bull were happy only losing seven points from a grid penalty and we lost 8 points today. So, it's not the end of the world."
"So, it's not the end of the world. The absolute point of view is we could have scored 3 or 5 more points in the championship. We should be okay in COTA. It's so close in the championship," concluded the Austrian. Mercedes did extend its lead in the Constructors' Championship by three points.
