Red Bull already seems to have secured first 'title' in 2021

Since the introduction of the new pit stop rules things have gone horribly wrong for Red Bull Racing on two occasions. Max Verstappen and Sergio Perez both stopped for more than six seconds on one occasion, but the Austrian team's pit crew were able to come up with an excellent recovery at the Istanbul Park circuit.
The fastest pit stop of the day was made by Max Verstappen's car. It took the Red Bull team just 2.15 seconds to fit four new intermediate tyres on the RB16B. The time of 2.56 seconds on Perez's car was also good. This pit stop was good for fifth place in the day's standings.
Mercedes on fire too
Mercedes' pitstops were also lightning fast in the Turkish Grand Prix, but not as fast as Sebastian Vettel's. The Aston Martin crew recorded a time of 2.28 seconds. Hamilton and Bottas' pit stops were respectively the third and fourth fastest pit stops of the Sunday.
Red Bull scored a total of 35 points for the DHL Fastest Pitstop standings. Mercedes collected 27 points and so the Milton Keynes-based formation manages to run another eight points. Red Bull is already some 200 points ahead in the rankings with six races to go, so the first title of 2021 is already unofficially in.
