Internet goes wild on Wolff: "Is he really comparing grid penalties to racism?!"
- GPblog.com
Toto Wolff has become a true internet phenomenon. After an initial radio silence from his side, the Mercedes team boss went completely wild during and after the Brazilian Grand Prix. All the more reason for the internet to dwell on this after the eventful weekend at the Interlagos circuit.
Who needs Netflix when you can just watch Formula 1? The race weekend in Brazil was completely dominated by all the drama that is unfolding around title rivals Mercedes and Red Bull Racing.
Wolff's behaviour has been at the heart of the aftermath of the race. The Mercedes team boss seemed to be going through a real emotional rollercoaster and visibly expressed that during the race. Especially the gesture towards the camera when Lewis Hamilton overtook Max Verstappen is a subject of discussion and the images are flying around on Twitter.
Internet goes wild for Toto Wolff
For fans of comedy series The Office there is a remarkable resemblance between the sitcom and the behaviour of team owners Toto Wolff and Christian Horner.

Wolff draws far-reaching comparison with grid penalties
In an interview with Sky Sports, the Mercedes team principal expressed his frustration about the treatment by the stewards. The emotional Wolff perhaps took it a bit too far...
