FIA arranged meeting with Verstappen for criticised marshal
- GPblog.com
The FIA has ensured that the marshal who was the bitten dog after qualifying, was able to meet Max Verstappen. The marshal waved the double yellow flag in Q3, giving Verstappen a grid penalty of five places. The whole situation angered Christian Horner.
The Red Bull Racing team boss called the marshal 'malicious,' although he apologised after the Grand Prix at the Losail International Circuit. FIA race director Michael Masi also stated that such criticism is unacceptable and that he will protect marshals at all times.
