Alfa Romeo presented Sunday morning the long-awaited livery of the new C42 for the 2022 Formula 1 season. In it, there are a number of striking differences compared to the 2021 livery.
The Swiss team completed the winter test in Barcelona with a camouflaged livery, so it was a matter of waiting until the car launch to see what livery the team has chosen this year. It remains red and white, but there are some changes in the layout.
For example, the color scheme has become a lot more striking. Where in 2021 it was mainly white with red accents, the team has reversed that for 2022. Red is now more dominant and is interspersed with white accents. This is also reflected in the hubcaps, where the red and white contrast returns.
