Formula 1 is now at a three-week standstill. The cancellation of the
Chinese Grand Prix has meant that after the
Australian Grand Prix, the
Azerbaijan Grand Prix is the next on the calendar.
While many fans are sorry to go long without
Formula 1, it gives an advantage to the teams, Alpine team boss
Otmar Szafnauer told
Motorsport.com: "
I know that the season has just started, but it's not just about the start of the season, because a lot of people have been working hard over the winter preparing the car for the tests and then the races" Szafnauer therefore envisages keeping this spring break in the future. According to it, it could be a way of managing the calendar for the coming seasons.
In the summer, after the
Belgian Grand Prix is the next time there will be such a long break. Until then, there will be 10 more Grand Prix, starting with the weekend of 28-30 April, when the Azerbaijan Grand Prix is scheduled.
