Charles Leclerc and
Sebastian Vettel have both been fined by the FIA for speeding in the pit lane. In FP1, the two
Ferrari drivers narrowly went over the limit and are forced to pay €300.
The two
Ferrari drivers finished the session in P4 and P5, with Leclerc setting the faster time in his home race.
Leclerc drove 62.8kph through the pit line, running over the 60kph limit. His German teammate was a little slower, but still, 2.6kph over the limit.
Vettel's rival,
Lewis Hamilton, topped the first practice session. But
Valtteri Bottas couldn't produce a one-two as he was split from Hamilton by
Red Bull's Max
Verstappen.Follow GPblog now on Twitter, YouTube, and Facebook!
