Max Verstappen has been voted GPblog driver of the day convincingly. The Dutchman received 57% of the vote for winning the
United States Grand Prix from sixth on the grid.
Lando Norris won the official
F1 driver of the day, but he hasn't even make the top three on GPblog's poll.
Max Verstappen was pushed, frustrated and rattled but has still claimed victory in the
United States Grand Prix. It's victory number 15 for the Dutchman, equalling his own record for wins in a single season. This was probably one of his harder-fought victories in 2023, as both Lando Norris and
Lewis Hamilton were in the mix at various points, though the disqualification for Hamilton put pay to that.
Verstappen won 57% of the vote from the GPblog community. Lewis Hamilton came second with 16% of the vote. Then there's a surprising result for third.
Yuki Tsunoda benefitted from the disqualifications, which pushed him to 8th. Though he drove well and impressed 12% of the GPblog voters.
