Carlos Sainz and
Sergio Perez had an incident during the second free practice session for the
Azerbaijan Grand Prix. The
Ferrari driver and the Red Bull driver were called to the stewards to explain their actions after Friday's final practice session.
As the end of the session approached, Sainz and Perez almost collided. The stewards decided to call Sainz and Perez to the office so that the two drivers could explain exactly what had happened. The
FIA then announced their verdict.
The document released by the FIA shows that Sainz got away with a warning. Sainz will not get a sporting penalty.
