After three straight weeks of racing, Formula 1 is on a break. Despite no race being scheduled for this week, the drama from the Saudi Arabian Grand Prix is sure to continue with everyone having an opinion on Max Verstappen's penalty and on the new championship leader, Oscar Piastri.

Horner sees Piastri as the rival to beat

After the Saudi Arabian Grand Prix, Red Bull Racing team principal Christian Horner said, “Oscar has won three races to Lando's one and looks like the driver in form at this junction in time.”
Horner is not the only one to note the shift in McLaren's dominance; other team principals and commentators have also pointed out how Piastri is dominating the grid at the moment.
Horner continued, “He's now the leader of the championship. Had Max won here, he would have been leading the championship. Things move around pretty quickly."

Norris doesn’t think McLaren is doing enough

Norris finished the Saudi Arabian Grand Prix in fourth place, three places off of his teammate. Afterwards, he claimed that Max Verstappen was faster and that McLaren were not dominate enough, He said “People keep saying we're the best, we're the quickest, blah blah blah, but it's just because we show a bit more pace in practice and then we don't have anything left when it gets to quali."
It is worth noting that Piastri disagreed with the Briton. In a direct response to Norris’s claim, Piastri said, “No. I think our car was still quicker."

Verstappen vs. Piastri

One of the hottest topics from the Saudi Arabian Grand Prix is whether Verstappen deserved a 5-second time penalty. George Russell answered a question about the topic and said he feels Verstappen has no right to complain. Damon Hill took to social media to share his point, writing, “I agree.” Others, namely Verstappen and Horner, are not on the same page. Earlier today, it was reported that Red Bull Racing presented new photos of the incident to the stewards.
