Red Bull has once again managed to find a place for its key talents in
Formula 2. The spots of Dennis Hauger, Juri Vips and Jehan Daruvala were announced Friday morning.
Red Bull's training program is famous within
Formula 1. Of the current F1 grid, seven former or current Red Bull talents are at the start, not even counting
Sergio Perez. Red Bull, under the leadership of
Helmut Marko, gives talents a chance and lays out a long path for them to follow.
Red Bull training
The final stage to prove yourself is
Formula 2, where various Red Bull talents will have to battle it out with each other in 2022. At Prema, we even see a full Red Bull lineup, with Dennis Hauger (reigning
Formula 3 champion) and Jehan Daruvala as drivers.
In addition to this duo, Liam Lawson was previously confirmed as Carlin's new driver. Lawson showed great potential in 2021, but also regularly dropped out due to crashes or mechanical failure. His former teammate at Hitech will also remain with the same team. Ayumu Iwasa is the latest talent from the Red Bull team, although the Japanese driver received a lot of support from Honda in the beginning. He will come into action for DAMS.
