Charles Leclerc finally managed to come closest to the Dutchman, but the
Ferrari driver also still had to concede four tenths to the leader. Behind Leclerc, we find
Sergio Perez in third place, followed by
Carlos Sainz. They had to concede five and six tenths respectively to Verstappen.
While Mercedes still topped the timesheet in the first free practice session, there was little left of that pace in the other practice sessions.
George Russell closed FP3 with tenth place, while
Lewis Hamilton had to settle for P13. Both were a good second short of Verstappen's fastest lap time.
