Full results FP3: Verstappen completes hattrick at Istanbul Park

The result of the third free practice session on the Istanbul Park circuit says nothing at all. The fastest times were driven at the very beginning of the session, because after that it started to rain harder and harder. For Verstappen this result does look nice on his CV.

With the fastest time in FP3 he has been the fastest in every free practice this weekend. Something that is even a rarity for the Mercedes drivers. That the RB16 is going well in Turkey is also proven by Alexander Albon, who had the fastest time on the clock just before Verstappen.

Ferrari is also doing surprisingly well this weekend. Especially Leclerc shows that he belongs in the top five on this circuit. Both Ferrari drivers also took quite a risk this morning by driving for a long time in the pouring rain.
