Christian Horner came under heavy fire last year when he was accused of inappropriate behavior. His wife Geri has stood by his side from day one, as seen in the new season of Drive to Survive. In an interview, she now reveals more about her marriage to the Red Bull team principal.

Geri was frequently seen in the paddock last season. Although the situation surrounding her husband is still not fully resolved - Red Bull still has to go to the British labor court in January due to the dismissal of the employee in question - she remains loyal to her husband.

"There’s a picture of Christian and me on a racetrack many years before we started dating,” said the former Spice Girl in an interview with The Times about meeting her husband. "I was there because of Bernie Ecclestone [the former F1 boss], he invited me."

Naturally, the interview also touched on the alleged inappropriate behavior of her husband, but she did not want to elaborate on that. "I've made some notes," she told the journalist, before enthusiastically talking about the hobbies she shares with the Red Bull team principal.

Horner a real family man

"We walk together with the dogs, we love walking. I gave him a goldendoodle for his birthday. I hid the puppy in a phone booth and gave it to him."

She emphasizes that their family is the most important thing for her and her husband. "we walk the dogs together, we like walking. We’re very much old-school and family focused. He loves doing barbecues — it’s a real man thing. He’s very tidy. I might leave things around, which makes him a bit cross."

Additionally, the couple enjoys watching TV series together, but Geri makes sure not to continue without her husband. " We’ll find a TV series that we lock into. I’ll try my best not to watch it when he goes away."

Games are also a favourite activity in the Horner family home. "The other day, in the kitchen, we were playing 20 questions — you’ve got to guess what the object is. We’re quite silly."
