Haas' car has finally arrived at the Bahrain International Circuit, but the delay means there is a good chance the American team will miss the first day of testing.

On Monday, it became clear that Haas' preseason problems were beginning to pile up. After the team cut ties with title sponsor Uralkali and its driver Nikita Mazepin, the team was also awaiting the parts of the car. These were still at the airport in Doncaster.

Problems for Haas

The parts were to be flown from Doncaster to Bahrain, but the cargo plane was stranded in Istanbul due to technical problems. Whereas all teams received their parts on Monday, Haas was left stranded. Via another cargo plane, the American team hoped to still find a way to fly the parts to Bahrain via Leipzig.

According to Motorsportweek.com, they succeeded and the parts arrived at Haas in Bahrain on Tuesday evening. A day later than all the other teams and with the tight schedules that are being kept, that could be a problem. There is a good chance that Haas will miss the first test day on Thursday because of this delay. That leaves only two test days for the team that also only managed the least number of laps of all the teams during the first test in Barcelona, namely 160.
