Once again the battle between Red Bull Racing and Mercedes is being fought out on track. There's also a little bit of an edge between the team bosses. The main issue this weekend is Red Bull's flexible rear wing, about which Mercedes has informed the FIA, as well as Wolff's statement that his team is now fully focused on 2022. After the second free practice session, the team boss reacted.

"Can Mercedes afford to just switch everything off?," Horner wonders during an interview with Sky Sports. "You'd be a very brave person to do that after four races. We will just stick to our plan which is a blend of the two and within the financial regulations."

Horner continued: "So, I'd be surprised because the rate of development is still quite intense. We will see there is still. We have only done four races. It's a measuring game for all the teams that have that dialled in. If you are Ferrari, you are still racing the McLaren's. If you are us, you are still trying to get Mercedes."

Rear wing debacle

Horner also has something to say about Wolff's complaints regarding Red Bull's rear wing: "I think Toto is more focused on our rear wing than on next year. I can't gauge. I don't know what's going on in their business. Toto knows what's going on in everybody's business."
