Red Bull Racing's new RB18 has been unveiled, and so the Austrian team can now focus entirely on the start of the season. Christian Horner is happy with the preliminary result.
In 2021 Red Bull Racing finally managed to get back into the title race. The constructors' title was narrowly lost to Mercedes, but with Max Verstappen Red Bull has a new world champion. Horner is looking forward to the coming season, in which the Brit hopes to achieve even more.
"We have number one on the car this year and now the challenge is to keep it and defend that title with Max. The excitement and hard work of 2021 really galvanised the Team and it means we go into 2022 in great shape for the season ahead,” he added.
Horner hopes to build on the 2021 season and the intense battle in which Max Verstappen and Lewis Hamilton were embroiled, from which he says he has now "almost recovered. "We aim to build on what we achieved last year," says Horner. The goal for the coming season is clear: "To retain the title," said the Red Bull team boss.
