Max Verstappen made history at Monza. The Red Bull Racing driver recorded his tenth win in a row and broke Sebastian Vettel's record, much to the satisfaction of his team boss Christian Horner.

Horner sees Verstappen making history

"We had to do it the hard way. Ferrari were quick today which we saw in qualifying yesterday. Carlos was defending like his life was depending on it. Max had to get that pass done, then we could pull out a gap," Horner told Sky Sports after the race.

"They were harder on their tyres than us. Checo made some great moves to get the one two. Max’s record is an incredible moment," he added.

"IIt’s a huge effort from every department. It’s not what happens just here but what goes on behind the scenes. You need every member of the team doing there job which they’ve done. This win is down to everyone at the Red Bull team," Horner said.

Max might have done it the hard way, he might have had to work for it, but it just makes it that much sweeter. No extra talk, just go out and get it down. Congratulations, Max and Red Bull!!
