Charles Leclerc dominated
GPblog's Driver of the Day votes for the 2024
Monaco Grand Prix. The
Ferrari driver secured his first win at his home race, and of the season. Here are the full results.
Leclerc received 54% of the vote following his win in Monaco. Whilst the
Formula 1 Driver of the Day vote also saw Leclerc win, this was by a much smaller margin of 32.4%. In our poll,
Oscar Piastri finished second with 11% of the vote, whereas he finished third in the
F1's rankings with 7.9%, behind
Sauber's
Zhou Guanyu who secured 12.4% of the votes.
The results in full
The remainder of the votes was split across many of the top ten finish drivers. Dutchman
Max Verstappen secured 8% of the votes, placing him third, with
VCARB driver
Yuki Tsundoda also securing 8%.
Ferrari's
Carlos Sainz secured 7% of the vote, after finishing third in Sunday's race, with the team celebrating a double podium. Finally,
Lewis Hamilton finished sixth in our rankings with 4%. Unlike the official F1 vote,
Lando Norris failed to make it into our top six.
