Helmut Marko joins Christian Horner in believing that the crash between Max Verstappen and Lewis Hamilton was a racing incident. The Red Bull Racing chief believes that the incident does not change anything about the title fight.
The stewards penalised Verstappen for the incident, but Marko believes both drivers were at fault. What does this mean for the relationship between the two title rivals? "The fact that they are no longer friends has not changed the result," he said in conversation with Sky Sports. "The title fight will continue in the same way."
Many people draw the comparison with the rivalry between Ayrton Senna and Alain Prost, but Marko sees it differently. "That is a huge difference. The result is the same, but then it was intentional. Now with both of them, there was no intent."
Sergio Perez's time penalty came as a disappointment, particularly as the gap between the drivers behind the McLarens was so small. "We waited for the signal to give the position back," explained Marko. "But nothing came out and so we assumed it was good. It's unfortunate, a podium would have done him good."
When Max unstrapped, got out and walked passed Hamilton, the dark lord of the Sith was going back and forth like a maniac to dislodge... Max prolly reckoned, "you can still do that, you're good". Team Mercedes even needed to tell him to shut down! Imagine what could have happened when he'd have succeeded to dislodge, his car could have easily hit Max. This colors him very egotistical... complaining he didn't get the attention from Max (forgetting Silverstone), disregarding the safety of Max who passed him walking while still attempting to dislodge, and spredding Kudos to the stuards for favoring him in the decision.... Quite self centered when you ask me.
That is not self centered my bad... That is called narcism in his purest form.....or psychopathology.....you choose. Lewis is called Psycho-44 on F1 blogs and probably not without a reason. He is even trying to get a win out of this situation by play a dirty blaming game like before. But that's fine, it's the Lulu we saw before the charme offensive to get a warm welcome in Zandvoort. The incident can be judged as it is. Can be made a case that is Lulu his fault as Verstappen got a penalty vs Bottas in 2018 for giving not enough space at entry turn 1, exactly what Lewis did. But it could also a racing incident or even be Max' fault. Racing incident would be the most logical if I saw the reaction of most drivers and (non UK) experts. I don't care and I am sure Max doesn't either. Penalties are no pain after all this year. Max made his point clear and that is worth more. If you f*#k with me you can kiss my floor.
POS Lulu has no friends amongst the drivers, nobody likes him.
And that the truth! Name 1 driver on the grid Lewis is really friends with. It was Rosberg...look what happened there
Nobody likes his attitude but they'll say it's because they are racist.
The only racism I've seen here is your previous comment. Moanalot it's fine for you to dislike LH but not when you start making POS racist comments
I don't think Hams has any real friends. Not even sure that Roscoe likes him. Roscoe likes anyone that fills his bowl.
Right.kind of matured enough now.in his late 30s..So cant be the same as these young drivers[kind of joking around etc etc].Just comes in ,does his job and moves on[am not talking about BLM political stuffs] just as a professional driver.
