Mercedes boss Toto Wolff confirms his team are fearful of the regulation changes next season. The Silver Arrows have won the last four constructors championships, and look favourites to make it five. Wolff confirms he is cautious about how the regulation changes could shake-up performances in 2019.

"The new rules around aerodynamics will really have a big impact. They can ensure that everything is suddenly turned upside down. You do not know which team uses a piece of grey area or comes with a groundbreaking innovation. Sometimes a team can suddenly have the knowledge and suddenly know how the car works. For us the upcoming changes are one big unknown and keep in mind that a team that is now low, will suddenly be in the top next season, "Wolff believes in a conversation with Motorsport-Total.

Another problem which may cross Mercedes path is their lack of a 'b-team'. Red Bull can use parts on Toro Rosso and Ferrari can use parts on Sauber. Who knows what will happen!
