This year's Monaco Grand Prix will take place from May 20-23. In anticipation of the race, the first works on the famous street circuit have already started, as was shown this morning.
The twitter page of Formula 1 pundit and journalist Albert Fabrega this morning showed how the work on the Monaco street circuit has started.
"The work to prepare the Monaco GP has already started. Pitlane has been resurfaced," Fabrega's caption reads. The photos show the pitlane being given a new layer of tarmac.
In 2020, the scheduled Monaco Grand Prix was dropped from the calendar for the first time since 1954. The cancellation of the race took place amid a series of cancellations that also affected the Grands Prix at Zandvoort and in Barcelona. For now, the race is still on the calendar for 2021.
