Two more races and then
Kimi Raikkonen's long
Formula 1 career will finally be over. It is fair to say that the 42-year old Alfa Romeo driver will be missed, if only because of his amusing interviews. The Finn himself is mainly looking forward to life outside the paddock.
Farewell at Alfa Romeo
We'll probably see Raikkonen on screen again in the coming years, in whatever he decides to do after F1. Tonight Raikkonen was also a guest at a party, namely at his own farewell party at Alfa Romeo.
On
his Instagram account Raikkonen was thankful for his time at the team.
"Thank you everyone for a night to remember," he wrote.
"Thank you everyone for all the years together. Thank you for your hard work. Thank you for all the memories. You are good people. Sincerely Kimi."Record holder
Certainly around the final race in Abu Dhabi, Raikkonen will continue to be in the spotlight. In the end, he will say goodbye with 353 races driven in
Formula 1. This makes him the record holder. Raikkonen became world champion in 2007.
