Charles Leclerc scores almost a perfect score in the
F1 Power Rankings of the
Austrian Grand Prix. The Monegasque scored 9.6.
Max Verstappen is in the top three of the race at the
Red Bull Ring with a score of 8.8.
Leclerc almost perfect
Leclerc managed to win a Grand Prix for the third time in 2022 and did so for the first time in his career, not from pole position. In qualifying and in the sprint race the
Ferrari driver came second, but on Sunday Leclerc was the master in Austria.
It is not Verstappen, but
Mick Schumacher who has taken second place in the Power Rankings. The young German of
Haas F1 scores a 9.0 after a very strong weekend. His sixth position on Sunday marked his best result in an F1 Grand Prix, and Schumacher showed plenty of good overtaking on the track.
Neat scores within top five
Verstappen's score of 8.8 puts him just above
Esteban Ocon. The Dutchman had a solid weekend but settled for second place on Sunday. Ocon scores an 8.6 and
Carlos Sainz is fifth with an 8.4. The Spaniard did not finish the race due to a blown engine.
