He might have taken P3 in both FP1 and FP2, but
Daniel Ricciardo is not happy with the current balance of his Red Bull.
The Aussie saw his teammate Max Verstappen get the top spot in both practice sessions on Friday, but he wasn't as convincing on the track. During FP2, he was sidelined for most of the session with technical difficulties.
"In the morning, I had some problems with the electronics, but fortunately that improved during the day," he told Sky Sports F1.
"The car doesn't feel comfortable though, so we have to improve some things on that tomorrow.
"Mercedes will no doubt be quick again on Saturday and I think we need to keep an eye on them.
"Hopefully, we can drive some more laps tomorrow to crank up the speed.
"We have to learn one or two things about the engine to squeeze the maximum out of it."
Let's just hope that Ricciardo won't be sidelined any more, he's looked good in Montréal despite not having the balance he wants.
