The
FIA is going to help teams get rid of 'porpoising.'
Max Verstappen of
Red Bull Racing is against the intervention of the umbrella sports federation, but
George Russell points the Dutchman in the right direction.
The Mercedes driver was critical of Verstappen during the press conference prior to the
Canadian Grand Prix. Among others, he and his teammate
Lewis Hamilton have suffered greatly from the bumpiness of the new F1 cars in recent races. It was
Carlos Sainz who called on the
FIA to take action. For several drivers, the bumpiness even results in severe back pain.
Russell critical of Verstappen
Verstappen is critical of the help some teams are now getting from the FIA, as his RB18 is suffering very little from the bumpiness. According to Russell, Verstappen thus prefers performance to health. Against among others
