The second free practice session for the Las Vegas Grand Prix has been postponed until further notice. An exact start time is uncertain.
Work is currently underway in Las Vegas to remove all manhole covers so that incidents like those earlier in the day with Carlos Sainz and Esteban Ocon cannot occur again. After the manhole covers are removed, the holes will be filled with cement. It will take some time for this to dry. Exactly how long remains to be seen.
For now, the first day of the race weekend in Las Vegas is one full of chaos. The fans have paid thousands of dollars to be present at the Grand Prix, which is presented as a spectacle, but for the time being, things are not going well on track. However, the party atmosphere is a positive for the fans waiting.
Utter disaster. If I payed for those tickets I would be so pissed. And the drivers will have zero time to prepare for qualifying.
Nope, not at all good. And now they are filling in the holes with concrete. I hope they know how much suction these cars have. I hope they have a quick way of drying it properly. I hope they don't mess this up.
Manhole covers again? Geez. Pity that i have to go to work, but i had not expected these to pop up, pun intended.
Haha. Good one :) Hopefully you won't miss anything by being at work. That concrete will wait for you to get back hopefully. Tired or waiting? I'm 'drain'ed. :)
