The start of the
Belgian Grand Prix has been postponed due to heavy rainfall over the
Spa-Francorchamps circuit. In the lap to the grid
Sergio Perez was already the big victim, preventing him from starting. The start of the race was postponed early and it also became clear that the formation lap would be held behind the safety car.
However, the start has now been postponed three times and is currently set for 15:25. The rain doesn't seem to be leaving Spa though, so there's a good chance that the race start will be pushed back even further. The clouds are also hanging low and due to the environment, with many hills around Spa, the precipitation will not disappear quickly. The question is whether the
FIA dares to send the drivers out on to the track.
