The provisional starting grid for the British Grand Prix

Formula one heads home this weekend as it returns to the track where it all began. Lewis Hamilton starts from pole as he pleased the home fans this afternoon. Rival Sebastian Vettel starts just behind him, and Kimi Raikkonen ensures the Silver Arrow will be surrounded by red going into the first corner. Brendon Hartley will start from the pit-lane following his absence from qualifying due to an FP3 crash.
