Mx Verstappen is not happy with Red Bull Racing's current form and Ralf Schumacher has issued an ultimatum to the Austrians after the Bahrain Grand Prix.
In Bahrain, Red Bull Racing had a very bad weekend. Due to brake issues and a lack of balance in the car, Max Verstappen was unable to qualify well. Because of these problems, coupled with two slow pit stops, and a lack of tyre management and overall pace, he also failed not move forward during the Grand Prix.
Ralf Schumacher stated on German Sky Sports that the team must have solved the problems before the Imola Grand Prix. "I am quite sure that if the car's upgrade does not take effect in Imola and the new engine, I am now only talking about rumors, then Max Verstappen will certainly leave the team."
Earlier in the weekend, Schumacher already said that he thinks Verstappen will move to the Mercedes team. After the Bahrain Grand Prix, he also considered Aston Martin as a good option for the Dutch driver.
"Together with Adrian Newey, whom he knows very well. Plus Honda, whom he knows very well. And also a factory with a future. But well, that is a matter of taste of course," said the German.
